Project Coordinator

Position Summary: The Project Coordinator will support the successful delivery of projects by assisting in planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting. This role ensures that project activities are carried out effectively, deadlines are met, and stakeholders are well-informed. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, team members, and external partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.

Key Responsibilities


Assist Project Managers in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and meeting minutes.

Track project progress and update status reports, highlighting risks, delays, or issues.

Coordinate communication between internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.

Organize and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and review sessions.

Monitor resource allocation and maintain project budgets under supervision.

Support risk and issue management by documenting, escalating, and tracking resolutions.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and methodologies (e.g., PMO, ITIL, ISO).

Assist in preparing presentations, dashboards, and reports for management review.

Provide administrative support including procurement requests, scheduling, and follow-ups.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in project coordination, project support, or administration.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to handle multiple tasks.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, or equivalent) is a plus.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and proactive attitude.

Preferred Skills

Experience in IT, digital transformation, or infrastructure-related projects.

Certification in project management (CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, PMP Associate, or equivalent) is desirable.

Reporting

Reports to: IT Head of IT Department

Works with: Cross-functional project teams, IT departments, vendors, and business stakeholders
