Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to create user-centered solutions for Microsoft Teams.
- Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions, contributing ideas for new features and product improvements.
- Create wireframes, journey maps, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and user flows.
- Document design decisions and maintain specifications for assigned features.
- Support user research and usability testing by incorporating feedback into design iterations.
- Work with engineering teams to support accurate implementation of design solutions.
- Practice a growth mindset by engaging in mentorship, learning new tools, and exploring evolving design practices.
- Embody our culture and values.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field
- OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or applying design thinking to solve problems).
- Demonstrated experience contributing to product design across the full development lifecycle, from concept through implementation.
- Master’s Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 1+ year(s) of relevant internship or work experience
- OR Bachelor’s Degree in the same fields AND 2+ years of related work experience
- OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience applying design thinking to solve product or service challenges).
- 2+ years of experience contributing to the delivery of user-facing products or services through an end-to-end design process.
