We are seeking a proactive and adaptable HR Generalist to join a well-established oilfield services and manufacturing company that supports the global energy sector. With operations across multiple countries, this company provides innovative solutions, advanced equipment, and technical expertise to clients in the oil & gas industry.
As the HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting both employees and management, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations and contributing to a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, programs, and procedures.
- Administer and support recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes.
- Manage employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution in line with company standards.
- Support payroll and benefits administration.
- Maintain employee records and HR systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in the development and rollout of HR initiatives, training programs, and engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Partner with managers to support workforce planning and organizational development.
Requirements
- Previous HR experience in a generalist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, industrial/manufacturing environment.
- HR designation (CHRP or working toward) would be an asset.
