What you'll do:

  • Design and evolve scalable, reliable systems that support high availability and performance across critical product workflows.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code in production systems, balancing speed and rigor to deliver impact in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactively identifying and resolving system reliability risks, owning uptime, observability, and performance as first-class engineering concerns.
  • Leverage cutting-edge technologies to create thoughtful AI experiences for our customers
  • Conduct thoughtful code reviews and technical mentorship, raising the bar for engineering excellence across the team and beyond.

You'll be a good fit if:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience building out production systems end-to-end and driving projects with minimal oversight
  • Comfort with traversing the software stack and picking up the latest technologies in a prompt and effective way to enhance the product experience. Significant experience with TypeScript and/or building out LLM-powered tools in Python is strongly preferred.
  • A strong bias for action: You know how to scope, build, and ship impactful solutions, balancing speed with technical rigor.
  • 2+ years of professional working experience outperforming in high-quality environments
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Excited to be in-person in New York City 5 days a week

Compensation Range: $150K - $220K
