DevOps Engineer - Job Description (First-Person Style)

I am an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in automating, scaling, and optimizing infrastructure and deployments. I specialize in bridging the gap between development and operations to ensure smooth, reliable, and secure software delivery.

  • Proficient in CI/CD pipeline design and automation using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps.
  • Skilled in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, with hands-on experience in managing compute, storage, networking, and security services.
  • Experienced in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring highly available and scalable microservices environments.
  • Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation for repeatable and automated environment provisioning.
  • Proficient in monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack, CloudWatch, and Datadog to maintain system health and reliability.
  • Knowledge of Linux system administration, scripting (Bash, Python, Shell), and automation for operational efficiency.
  • Experienced in security best practices, including identity and access management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks.
  • Skilled in version control (Git) and working within Agile/Scrum methodologies to collaborate across teams and deliver high-quality software.
