Engineer - NOC

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for NOC operations and network operations in a Linux environment.
  • Provide technical systems support and perform regular maintenance activities.
  • Respond and resolve support requests from end users in a timely manner within SLA.
  • Document support procedures and operational workarounds.
  • Collaborate with team members on projects and provide support where needed.
  • Support non-production environments, deployments, and system deployment plans.

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of experience in NOC operations, network operations, or relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of database concepts, Linux and SQL commands.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and ticketing tools (Zendesk, Jira etc)
  • Ability to learn new technologies and support varied application portfolios.
  • Knowledge of server operating systems like RHEL, SLES, VMware, and Windows.
  • Experience in SQL server query performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills for real-time service support environments.
