Senior Android Engineer (6-Month Contract)

numi is partnered with a unique marketplace with millions of customers. You'll be helping them build exceptional mobile experiences that showcase the best of independent makers and creators.

They are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join on a 6-month contract to improve their app and deliver brilliant user experiences. This is a high-collaboration environment with regular pair and mob programming.

As a senior member of the team, you'll be hands-on with the codebase and play a key role in guiding technical direction.

What You'll Do

• Deliver new features and quickly iterate through prototypes and test-and-learn cycles.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor other engineers.
• Shape and refine API requirements with backend teams

Who We're Looking For

You are a highly collaborative engineer with a strong product mindset.

• Must Have: Strong expertise in Kotlin and Compose (app is ∼80% Compose). Practical experience with
• Coroutines. Solid understanding of software architecture, modern design patterns, and RESTful APIs. Experience delivering production apps to the Play Store.

Bonus: Knowledge of RxJava, familiarity with TDD and automated testing strategies, and interest in design/UX.
