What you’ll do

• In our high performing team, you will actively participate in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of software applications and components using the latest programming languages and tools.
• Bugs bother you, and you are relentless in identifying and resolving software defects, performance bottlenecks, and other technical challenges using a creative mindset.
• You will not be siloed, and you are someone who thrives in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with talented professionals including product team, business owners and testers.

What you’ll bring

• Possess expertise in programming languages such as JavaScript/Typescript.
• Good understanding of software development methodologies and best practices, continually seeking ways to enhance, share and apply your skills and knowledge.
• Experienced with modern software development frameworks, tools, and libraries, enabling you to deliver efficient and robust solutions.
• Your knowledge of database systems and SQL empowers you to design and optimise data-driven applications.
• You’ve explored and embraced AI coding tools and workflows, and you’re keen to keep building on that foundation.
• Well-versed in version control systems and collaborative development environments, ensuring smooth collaboration with my fellow team members.
• You're comfortable working at the intersection of software and infrastructure, with experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code to help build scalable, reliable systems.
• Natural problem solver, relishing the challenge of analysing and debugging complex software issues with tenacity and resourcefulness.
• Exceptional communicator and collaborator, excelling in both written and verbal communication to drive effective teamwork and alignment.
• You hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience), demonstrating your commitment to excellence in the field.
• You've thrived in the fast-paced world of start-ups, scale-ups, or fintechs, and bring that energy and adaptability with you (desirable).
• You have a good understanding of application security practices and experience implementing them (desirable)
