The Opportunity

As a Software Development Engineer in Basel, Switzerland, you will have the outstanding opportunity to build the future of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service. You will be part of an ambitious team, working on innovative projects that integrate AEM with Edge Delivery Services. This role involves composing content authoring and ensuring high-performance delivery of websites and storefronts. Join our team of exceptionally skilled engineers, each with a proven track record in developing and operating world-class enterprise-grade content management systems.

What you'll Do

• Develop, implement, and maintain seamless integrations of AEM with Edge Delivery Services.
• Imagine and pioneer the future of content production and high-speed website deployment.
• Collaborate strictly with various teams within AEM Sites and AEM as Cloud Service.
• Engage in fast prototyping and co-innovate with customers on the latest industry trends, including AI and optimizations for LLMs.
• Apply and uphold the best software engineering and operations practices throughout the development process.
  
  

What you need to succeed

• Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript, along with fundamental web technologies like HTML and CSS.
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems.
• Proven experience in cloud architecture and operations.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• (Optional) Experience with AEM and/or other Adobe Experience Cloud products.
• (Optional) Familiarity with the AEM core technology stack (JCR/OSGI/Apache Sling).
