Our partner is seeking an experienced Shopify Developer to support e-commerce projects, including migrations, customizations, and app integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify 1.0 & 2.0, Shopify Liquid, and the Shopify API, along with broader full-stack skills to enhance and maintain complex web solutions.

Responsibilities

- Lead Shopify migrations and modifications for existing online stores.

- Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes and apps.

- Integrate third-party apps and APIs into Shopify.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable e-commerce solutions.

- Ensure responsive, user-friendly design and functionality across platforms.

- Maintain and enhance legacy projects as needed.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in web development, with a specialization in Shopify.

- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, Shopify API, and app integrations.

- Strong skills in JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, PHP (Laravel), and front-end frameworks (TailwindCSS, Bootstrap).

- Experience with WooCommerce and WordPress (a plus).

- Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Git workflows, and modern testing tools (TDD, Cypress, Mocha, PHPUnit).

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Skills

- AWS, Docker, and cloud infrastructure experience.

- Stripe or other payment gateway integrations.

- Team leadership and mentoring experience.
