Cybersecurity Engineer

Remitee, a rapidly expanding fintech company specializing in international payments, is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer.

Your mission will be implementing and safeguarding our networks and ensuring the highest levels of security and performance across our infrastructure, with a focus on protecting sensitive financial data and supporting seamless international transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Audits and Vulnerability Assessments: Collaborate with regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to proactively identify risks.
Cybersecurity Tool Management: Implement and manage cloud-based cybersecurity tools.
Incident and Risk Management: Collaborate in the detection, response, and mitigation of security incidents; manage vulnerabilities and associated risks.
Security Architecture: Design and implement security architectures, including firewalls, Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and DLP.
System Integration: Integrate security solutions with other organizational systems for security management.
Security Consultation: Provide security expertise in various company projects.
Client Engagement: Participate in meetings with clients to ensure alignment with Remitee’s cybersecurity standards and adapt practices to meet client requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

Degree or current student in Engineering, Systems, or related fields.
Minimum of 3 years in similar roles.
Experience with cloud platforms: Azure (mandatory), GCP (nice to have).
Knowledge managing Firewall systems such as Palo Alto
Proficiency with others security technologies, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
Experience with security tools such as Antivirus, EDR, SIEM, WAF, Defender, DLP, Intune, Anti-Spam, and Mail Management.
Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls) and ISO 27001 (preferred).
Intermediate English proficiency.
