Senior Python / Backend Developer - (Dutch Speaker)

Location: Remote (±3 hours CET)

What You'll Do

• Design scalable, flexible data models and schemas
• Collaborate on architecture and design with a small, cross-functional team
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs
• Integrate third-party APIs and services—including LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini)
• Work with JSON and structured data formats
• Debug, test, and improve existing codebase
• Ensure quality through clear documentation and version control (Git)
• Join remote planning and review meetings
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of overall software development experience with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Python
• Proven experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of data modeling and schema design
• Comfortable working with JSON and external API services
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Hugging Face, etc.)
• Experience using GitHub and common Git workflows
• Confident debugging and improving existing systems
• Clear, proactive communication
• Team player who can also work independently
• Fluency in Dutch is required
