Project Manager (HR Projects / AFAS Implementation)
About the Role
We are looking for a Project Manager with strong experience in HR projects to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the ongoing implementation of the AFAS HR software package, ensuring successful delivery of the core HR module (Phase 1) and preparing for subsequent phases (Phase 2 and 3) planned for next year.
Your role will bridge the gap between HR business stakeholders and technical teams, making sure that project objectives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the implementation of AFAS HR package across multiple project phases.
- Ensure successful closure of Phase 1 (core HR module) and prepare roadmap for Phases 2 and 3.
- Act as the liaison between HR business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Translate HR business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and budgets.
- Provide clear reporting and status updates to senior management and HR leadership.
- Ensure proper change management and user adoption across HR and business teams.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, ideally in HR-related projects.
- Solid knowledge of HR business processes (HR Generalist background is a strong plus).
- Hands-on experience with HR package implementations (AFAS experience strongly preferred).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with project methodologies (Agile / Waterfall / hybrid).
- Fluency in English& French or English & Dutch
