Business Data Analyst

As an Analyst Data & BI within the Tribe Daily Banking, you will play a key role in translating business needs into actionable insights. You will be responsible for stakeholder engagement, data engineering, and financial strategic management to ensure our Tribe can steer effectively with the right data at the right time.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, hands-on expertise with BI tools (especially Tableau), and the ability to connect business and data in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

• Gather business requirements from management and product-related roles.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance and Data departments.
• Promote and support the adoption of delivered dashboards across the Tribe.
  

• Design and implement compliant ETL processes for secure and efficient data ingestion.
• Organize and execute migration plans from legacy systems to new database environments.
• Ensure data integrity, traceability, and performance optimization throughout the lifecycle.
  

• Develop a deep understanding of the Tribe’s financials and their key drivers.
• Deliver insights that support strategic steering and decision-making.
  

• Identify, prepare, and query data sources.
• Automate and schedule data processes.
• Develop advanced dashboards and visualizations in Tableau.
  

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Commercial Engineering).
• Candidates with other degrees and strong analytics knowledge are welcome.
  

• 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in data analytics.
• Proven experience with data preparation, ETL design, automation, and dashboard development.

Technical Skills – Mandatory:

• Data sourcing and preparation
• ETL processes & automation
• Tableau expertise for dashboard development

Technical Skills – Preferred:

• SQL, SAS, Oracle Exadata/ExaCC

Business Skills – Mandatory:

• Financial strategic analysis (understanding key financial drivers of a Tribe).
• Strong stakeholder management and business requirement gathering.

Business Skills – Preferred:

• Knowledge of Daily Banking products (Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Cash Accounts, Savings Accounts).

• Languages: Dutch (basic), French (basic), English (fluent).
• Work setup: 50% on-site / 50% remote.
