Now, we’re looking for a Director, Business IT & Security to take on a brand new, key role. You’ll have the freedom to build, lead, and continuously improve our IT infrastructure, systems, and security practices.
In this role, you’ll head up our Business IT & Security function, guiding both strategy and day-to-day operations. You’ll be responsible for keeping our IT and information security strong, efficient, and ready to support the business. As CISO, you’ll make sure we stay compliant and manage risks, while also driving innovation and supporting our growth.
You’ll oversee company-wide IT and security, as well as lead our dedicated infrastructure team for our BI & Planning solution. Your job is to develop and deliver our IT strategy, keep our services improving, and make sure our systems truly support the business.
In practice, you will
- Lead and develop the IT & Security function, balancing strategy and hands-on work, with a strong focus on CISO responsibilities and ensuring the annual IT & Security roadmap is delivered.
- Build and execute IT and cybersecurity plans that support our business goals, ensuring compliance with ISO27001, NIS2, GDPR, and other key regulations.
- Oversee our IT infrastructure, systems, and user experience, including identity and access management, risk management, and business continuity. Develop and maintain a legacy system plan by mapping current internal and customer-facing systems, assessing their business use, and creating alternatives and business cases to drive cost savings.
- Monitor and report on IT and security performance, and lead communications, training, and guidelines for the organization.
- Manage IT support, vendors, and third-party security assessments.
- Explore and pilot new technologies and operating models, while keeping an eye on budgeting and cost optimization. Work closely with our integration architect to ensure systems and processes are aligned and support efficient business operations.
- Act as a strategic partner to the business, proactively evaluating and validating IT systems and solutions together with business units. Document and link business processes to technical architecture, identify areas of risk and inefficiency, and help guide business decisions to ensure continuity, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead a team of four IT experts and report directly to our Chief Platform Officer.
- Proven experience in IT leadership. Strong background in IT infrastructure, systems, and information security management.
- Solid knowledge of relevant legislation and standards (e.g. ISO27001, NIS2, GDPR).
- Experience with governance processes, such as ISO 27001 audits, other risk management practices, or product management frameworks.
- Fluent English skills; Finnish is a big plus.
- You have a visionary mindset and experience in change management: you can assess the current state, create a compelling vision, and build a practical roadmap for change.
- You are skilled at creating structure and processes, and you make sure they are implemented in practice.
- You thrive in a fast-changing environment and can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
- You communicate clearly and build trust across teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with both cloud environments and on-premises systems.
- Willingness and ability to work from our Helsinki office multiple days per week to support smooth and efficient teamwork.
