Project Director – Data Centre Design

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Director with a proven background in design leadership for large-scale data centre projects. This role is responsible for managing design teams, ensuring project delivery, and driving technical excellence. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of design experience and a strong track record in critical facility projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams across all project stages, ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Provide technical guidance and design approvals for complex data centre systems.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects meet sustainability, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level design staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of design experience with a focus on mission-critical or data centre projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems in critical facilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (three weeks onsite, one week remote).
