Your core tasks are the provision and support of IT infrastructures in our national and international customer projects for sustainable local public transport. You will act as an integrator between the various specialist departments within INIT and form the fundamental interface between hardware and software in our projects.
Here Is An Insight Into Your Tasks
- You coordinate the provision of the required resources (on-premise, virtual, cloud) in close cooperation with customers and technical teams
- You are mainly responsible for planning, setting up and operating network and security infrastructures, virtualization platforms and active directory environments
- You get to the bottom of tricky problems with our development team, carry out 2nd and 3rd level analyses and troubleshooting and continuously ensure that vulnerabilities are eliminated and that our customers' infrastructure is developed securely and sustainably
- As part of your role, you will contribute to the creation of our technical concepts and documentation for our global tenders
- You have completed training or a degree in IT and can impress with your relevant professional experience
- Sound knowledge of hardware, network technologies, storage systems and IT security
- Confident in the administration of Microsoft and Linux operating systems and proven experience in the installation, setup and management of virtualized environments with VMware and Hyper-V, including data backup solutions
- Knowledge of Citrix technologies and NetScaler ADC as well as experience with container technologies are a real plus for us
- You can experience the results of your work live on site during occasional customer visits
- Teamwork is more than just a buzzword for you and you show initiative
- You communicate confidently in German and English
