About the role
As Deputy Vice President Sales Italy, you will oversee the go2market strategy for the Italian market. In this pivotal leadership role, you will build and guide a high-performing sales ecosystem, foster trusted and long-lasting customer relationships, and translate strategic objectives into measurable business growth.
You will report directly to the EVP Sales South-Western Europe (SWE) and, upon successfully completing your probation period, you are expected to transition into the role of Vice President Sales Italy within 6 to 12 months.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and drive a sales growth strategy in the country.
- Understanding the competitive landscape, presence, and our position within the market.
- Carry out active territory planning and provide accurate forecasts and pipeline monitoring.
- Inspire and motivate the Sales team to develop innovative prospecting activity, negotiation abilities, and closing opportunities.
- Be the sales coach and lead performance improvement.
- Carry out the development of new local solutions based on the group’s solutions and product suite.
- Increasing our market share by establishing and growing our ecosystem. Develop strategic relationships with partners, vendors, equipment suppliers and other key players in the market.
- Drive growth by creating a footprint in all our technology areas. Define strategic initiatives for financing solutions for IT, Healthcare, and Industrial equipment.
- Retain and grow the existing customer base with regular engagement activities to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Align and engage in C-level meetings to properly understand customer business requirements and market trends.
- Continuously align and apply the 4-eyes principle and ensure strong collaboration with the Vice President of Finance Italy.
- Build effective and constructive working relationships with Finance, Operations and Support departments on all topics impacting the country’s performance.
- Cross-collaboration within the region and with other subsidiaries.
What you need to succeed in the role:

- Extensive experience in leading sales teams, with a strong track record of people-oriented leadership.
- Ability to structure complex financing deals.
- Strong prospecting, customer centricity, and networking skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strategic thinking, analysis, and negotiation.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a dynamic and resilient personality.
- Fluent in both Italian and English.
