Business analyst – core banking (contract, hybrid/remote EU)
We’re looking for an experienced business analyst to join the core banking platform team of a leading financial services client. This is a 6-month contract starting 24 October 2025, hybrid/remote across the Baltics or EU.
What you’ll do
- Analyse business needs and turn them into clear IT and data requirements
- Run workshops and liaise with stakeholders across business, data, and tech teams
- Map current processes and data flows, define transformation rules and business logic
- Document functional, non-functional, and data requirements for new system features
- Support development, testing, and release activities
- Help ensure data quality and metadata management
- Drive process improvements and suggest optimisations
What we’re looking for
- 2–3+ years’ business analysis or similar experience across the full software delivery lifecycle
- Strong understanding of banking or financial products, processes, and IT systems
- Solid requirements engineering and business/data process modelling skills
- Confident stakeholder engagement and clear communication
- SQL for data validation and analysis
- Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting concepts
- Comfortable with JIRA, Confluence or similar collaboration tools
- Proactive, improvement-oriented mindset
Nice to have
- Understanding of interconnected systems and architecture impacts
- Change management and adoption support experience
- Ability to thrive in fast-changing technology environments
Location: Hybrid / remote, EU/Baltics
Contract length: 6 months (full-time)
Start date: 24 October 2025
