Full stack Mobile Developer

The mission of the full stack mobile developer position at HackMotion is to help us speed up how we design, build, and ship backend systems that power the app. You’ll play a key role in planning, building, and maintaining the systems that power our technology, across the entire stack (backend + mobile app).

You’ll become a key part of our product team. Working on cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with our mobile app, and tackling the architectural challenges that come with scaling operations.

Your impact will be measured by how effectively our team can deliver more high-quality, data-driven use cases while continuously improving stability and speed for our users.

The work will be truly engaging and fun, and you will be able to learn a lot. We do everything in-house: from the embedded software of our wearable hardware to cloud solutions.

We build and maintain iOS and Android applications with a single code base on Flutter. Our mobile app has many unique and interactive elements with our hardware - real-time animations, sound and vibration signals, sensor data processing, etc. - this makes the work both challenging and extremely fun.

Your tasks:

• Implement & support features that require integration with our cloud services for HackMotion iOS and Android apps by using cross-platform development technology (Flutter);
• Take ownership of our cloud stack. Supporting new data driven use case feature development.
• Own your part of the backlog, delivering high-quality features on a sprint basis;
• Together with other developers contribute to solving architectural challenges and minimise technical debt.
• Participate in feature planning bringing your tech expertise.

What we expect:

• Experience in Flutter cross-platform technology (or the ability to learn it fast);
• Experience with implementing and maintaining cloud-based backend infrastructure (GCP, AWS, etc.)
• Experience designing and deploying databases (SQL or NoSQL) to meet application needs over time.
• Experience building APIs and client libraries for application or service-to-service integrations.
• Great English communication skills (both verbally and in written form).
