Visionary Experienced Product Designer

What You'll Do

As our Senior Product Designer, you will:

- Lead design initiatives end to end: research, ideation, wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and handoff to engineering.

- Define and maintain our design system to ensure consistency across platforms (web, mobile, or however the product evolves).

- Drive UX improvements via data and user research—run usability tests, iterate based on feedback, build user flows.

- Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, and marketing to align design with product goals.

- Advocate for a human-centered design approach, with empathy for the user’s journey and emotions.

- Mentor (or help set up processes) for junior or mid-level designers as the team grows.

What We're Looking For

You might be our ideal Senior Product Designer if you:

- Have 10+ years experience designing digital products (web / mobile) is MANDATORY.

- Strong portfolio showing problem solving, UX flows, and polished UI work.

- Deep understanding of design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent).

- Experience with or passion for user research and usability testing.

- Good visual design skills: typography, layout, color theory, UI patterns.

- Strong communication skills: you can explain design decisions to non-designers (engineers, PMs, stakeholders).

- Comfortable working in remote, fast-paced environments.

- Self-driven, takes ownership, delivers with minimal guidance.

Bonus:

- Experience building design systems and maintaining them as the product scales.

- Exposure to product analytics tools and using data to drive design decisions.

- Knowledge of accessibility best practices.

The Fine Print

Compensation: This is a phantom share-only position until our first funding round. You will not receive a salary until investment is secured. At funding, your phantom shares will be cashed out based on company valuation, giving you meaningful ownership and a significant reward for your early contribution.
