🚀 We're Hiring: Innovation and projects manager (Fixed-term Contract)

We're looking for a seasoned Innovation and projects manager to join our team on a project-contract basis. As a hands-on, self-driven professional, you will be key in managing and implementing international projects at Sunrise Tech Park. This position requires initiative, ownership, and the ability to deliver high-quality results while proposing and driving new ideas. All projects focus on startup and business support, deeptech, cleantech, greentech, climate technologies, and digitalisation.

What We're Looking For:

We’re seeking a skilled professional with a unique blend of technical expertise, creativity, strategic thinking, organisational skills, and a passion for innovation. The ideal candidate will have:

• A university degree. Advanced degrees or certifications in innovation management, project management, or related areas will be a plus.
• Proven experience in managing projects and delivering quality results on time.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills to coordinate complex projects, collaborate with diverse teams and engage with stakeholders.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset to identify challenges, craft effective plans and methodologies, and implement impactful solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Lithuanian.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Project Management & Implementation:
• Plan, coordinate, and implement project activities for the best outcomes.
• Monitor timelines and ensure tasks are delivered on time, within scope, and at the required quality.
• Prepare and submit reports in line with project and funding requirements.
• Contribute to proposal writing and new project applications.
• Research & Analysis:
• Design and execute research activities, from drafting research questions to conducting interviews and summarizing findings.
• Translate research results into actionable insights for stakeholders and startups.
• Content Development & Knowledge Sharing:
• Develop written materials and methodologies, including guides, frameworks, and toolkits tailored to project needs.
• Organize and deliver training sessions, ensuring relevance, engagement, and impact.
• Prepare articles, reports, and other communication materials highlighting project achievements and supporting communication, promotion, and dissemination.
• Representation & Stakeholder Engagement:
• Present projects and Sunrise Tech Park activities at local and international events, conferences, and partner meetings.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with international partners, project consortia, and key stakeholders.
• Quality & Impact:
• Ensure that project activities align with Sunrise Tech Park’s mission and contribute to sustainable innovation, green and digital transition, and startup growth.
• Monitor and evaluate project results against KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement and measurable impact.

A big plus if you are experienced in Startup Support & Ecosystem Development:

• Evaluate startups, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and growth potential.
• Coach very early-stage startups, offering mentorship and practical guidance from idea to validation.
• Implement cascade funding schemes, ensuring compliance, transparency, and effective fund distribution.
• Actively contribute to strengthening the cleantech and digital innovation ecosystem in Lithuania and beyond by organising mentoring sessions, workshops, business missions, etc.

Additional Information:

• This is a project-based role offered under a fixed-term contract. Depending on future project opportunities, the contract may be extended or renewed for additional periods or transformed into a permanent role.
• Flexibility for business trips abroad is required.
