Software Developer – Mobile Applications, Web, and Cloud Services

Croxel, Inc. is seeking a skilled Software Developer for a 3–6-month contract with the potential for extension or full-time incorporation. This developer will be a key resource across various Croxel projects, working on mobile and web applications that connect to BLE devices and cloud platforms.

Required Experience

• Proficiency with Xamarin/.NET MAUI for developing mobile applications in C# and .NET.
• Experience building applications for Android and iOS devices.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device connections in mobile applications.
• Backend and API development for cloud platforms, including IoT integrations.

Required Expertise

Mobile Application Development: 

• Experience with Xamarin and the latest .NET MAUI platform for cross-platform mobile applications.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET.

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE):

• Experience developing mobile apps that establish and manage BLE connections to IoT devices.

Web and Cloud Development:

• Familiarity with cloud services and cloud-based IoT platforms.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and API development for mobile and web applications.

Source Control: Proficiency in GIT for version control and collaboration.

Database Management: Basic knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.

Nice to Have Knowledge

Additional Mobile Development Platforms:

• Familiarity with Flutter or native Android/iOS development.

Cloud & IoT Platforms:

• Experience with IoT services on platforms like Azure IoT or AWS IoT Core.

Cloud Service Integration:

• Knowledge of cloud functions, API Gateway, and Lambda on AWS.

High-Level Programming Languages:

• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or other backend languages.

Containerization: Familiarity with Docker for containerized deployments.

Key Platforms You Will Be Developing For

• Xamarin / .NET MAUI for mobile app development
• AWS (including IoT Core, API Gateway, Lambda)
• BLE-enabled mobile devices (integrating with IoT hardware)
