Product Designer

About The Role

Join the Experience Design team of Versuni, which interfaces with global stakeholders from different departments while driving user experience innovation. Together with a creative force of about 50 professionals, we create the future identity for the Versuni portfolio and execute this through projects, guidelines, and final design specifications.

The Impact You’ll Make

• Independently leads multiple design projects and supports on design strategic initiatives.
• Takes full ownership of the product design activities and delivers relevant output on time and with quality throughout the full ‘Solution Development Process’ from project initiation to product launch.
• Actively drives consumer and competitor research activities to identify user needs and designs opportunities to create value and differentiation.
• Ideates & conceptualizes solutions through sketching, CMF, CAD modeling, prototyping, visualization & storytelling.
• Teams up with designers from different disciplines and with project team members from marketing, R&D and other relevant functions.
• Sets up and facilitates design ideation workshops.
• Reviews prototypes and production samples and delivers feedback documentations to ensure design intents are implemented
• Applies design language guidelines to maintain brand consistency and contributes to the evolution of our design language.
  
  

The Skills And Knowledge You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience in home appliances or consumer electronics (aesthetics, proportions, detailing & usability)
• BSc or Masters in industrial design or related education
• Knowledge of design for manufacturing (processes)
• Solid craft of design skills, including hand or digital sketching, prototyping,
• CAD modeling (Rhino/Solid Works) & rendering (Keyshot)
• Strong communication in English, with strong influencing and persuading skills to manage stakeholders
