Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP-based web applications, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and secure across various environments and use cases
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to gather technical requirements and translate them into effective, maintainable solutions
- Write high-quality, modular, and reusable code that adheres to industry standards and best practices, with thorough documentation to support long-term maintainability
- Conduct comprehensive unit testing and debugging to validate application functionality, identify potential issues early, and ensure overall system stability
- Continuously monitor and optimize application performance, implementing improvements in response time, memory usage, and overall reliability
- Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and frameworks in PHP and web development, integrating relevant innovations into the development workflow when appropriate
- Diagnose and resolve software defects and production issues efficiently, applying root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures
- Contribute to the evolution of development processes by sharing insights, proposing improvements, and participating in code reviews and technical discussions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated professional experience as a PHP Developer, with deep expertise in modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony, including routing, middleware, service containers, and ORM usage
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (including frameworks/libraries such as Vue.js or React)
- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, design patterns (MVC, Repository, Singleton), and their practical application in scalable software architecture
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data integrity enforcement
- Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and collaborative workflows using platforms like GitHub or GitLab
