The Site Manager is the overall leader responsible for managing and supervising the project at the construction site. This role coordinates supervision activities to ensure that the project is executed according to timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all construction activities related to the photovoltaic plant, including civil, mechanical, and electrical works.
- Ensure works are carried out according to design, technical specifications, planning, and safety standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the different supervisors (civil, mechanical, electrical) and ensure proper site logistics and sequencing.
- Act as the main point of contact between the EPC contractor and the Owner on site.
- Monitor daily progress, track milestones, and report deviations.
- Lead site meetings, manage documentation, and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.
- Support HSE and QA/QC processes, ensuring proper compliance and implementation of project procedures.
- Coordinate commissioning activities and support handover processes.
- Engineering degree (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction of PV plants, with proven leadership on site.
- Strong technical understanding of PV systems and site coordination.
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
- HSE training required (minimum 20h).
