Join ALTEN Switzerland as a Junior DevOps and Software Development Engineer!
Your Responsibilities
- Manage servers, virtual machines (vSphere) and network infrastructure (switches, routing, firewall, FortiNet) for test and development purposes;
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD) and containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes);
- Create and manage scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code templates (Terraform, Ansible) for automation and deployment;
- Set up and configure monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Zabbix, Splunk, ELK) and document processes, tools, and best practices;
- Collaborate in agile/Scrum teams, ensure system integrity and compliance.
Your profile
- Recent graduate in Computer Science or a related field, eager to start a career in DevOps and IT automation;
- Basic understanding of automation, DevOps principles, and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python...);
- Strong command of English; German or French is a plus;
- Highly motivated to learn, adapt and grow in a technical and collaborative environment.
Location: Bern (availability to work on-site is required).
