Blindspot is a growing ad tech company specializing in programmatic advertising and digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising, with access to over 1 million digital billboards worldwide. We're building sophisticated real-time bidding infrastructure that operates at scale, processing millions of ad requests daily.

The Role

We're looking for motivated junior developers to join our engineering team. You'll work across our full technology stack, contributing to both frontend applications and backend services. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment while working on challenging problems in real-time advertising technology.

Location

This is a fully remote position for candidates based in Romania.

What You'll Work With

• Frontend: TypeScript, React, modern web applications
• Backend: TypeScript/Node.js, building APIs and real-time bidding services
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis
• Infrastructure: AWS (ECS, ElastiCache, and other services), Kubernetes, Docker
• Tools: Git, GitHub Actions, GitOps workflows, tRPC

What We're Looking For

• Fundamental understanding of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Some experience with TypeScript or strong willingness to learn
• Basic familiarity with React or similar frontend frameworks
• Understanding of backend concepts (APIs, databases, HTTP)
• Comfort working with Git and version control
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Exposure to Redis or caching systems
• Familiarity with AWS or cloud platforms
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerization
• Experience with GitOps or CI/CD workflows
• Interest in ad tech or real-time systems
