Our Global Payroll Business Excelence team in Bucharest/ Romania is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst! In your role you will be having the following Tasks:
Key Duties/Tasks
- You will formulate analytical problems, extracting & analyzing data from multiple systems, summarizing critical findings/insights, and developing a compelling visual representation of analyses with actionable recommendations
- You will work with multiple stakeholders to identify, design, develop and implement advanced analytics projects
- You will acquire, clean and analyse large data sets and do exploratory analysis to understand our data and if it meets project requirements
- You will design reports to help our management team make strategic decisions
- You will be a champion for data-based decision making
- You will drive the improvement in how we organise and classify our data across the Implementation department and beyond
- You will help formulate our data analysis offering and produce new models to forecast future outcomes
- You will have high ethical standards. You will understand the importance of keeping data safe and secure and ensure ADP and client data is safeguarded at all times
- You will be able to extract data from core systems and understand how this data can be structured to make analysis more straightforward
- You will be naturally analytical and will be able to see inconsistencies in data
- You will be able to see through the numbers to spot trends in data and be able to model them to help plan for possible outcomes
- You will be interested in discovering more about data patterns and automated decision making
- You will be a born story teller. You will be able to make sense of large volumes of information. You will have a natural ability to find the useful information amongst reams of data and be able to translate this into simple charts or presentations to drive better decision making
- You will have a keen attention to detail and the ability to produce highly accurate deliverables
- You will be willing to roll up your sleeves and do the mundane work. Data will need to be cleansed; Master Data defined and taxonomies refined.
- You will be a critical thinker who is able to see the bigger picture and challenge assumptions and established processes to improve productivity and efficiency
- You will be able to manage demanding workloads including working to conflicting and changing deadlines.
- You will be comfortable with uncertainty. Elements of your work will be new, and not everything will be defined precisely at the outset
- Data will be cleaner and more accurate as an outcome of the work you are performing
- Your project reports will be the talk of the company. They will be clear and concise and will be used to support decision making at the highest levels
- Your forecasts will be so accurate management may start to suspect you are a fortune teller
- 2 years of experience in reporting, business intelligence, data analysis or similar. Expert Excel skills, include macro.
- Experience of working with BI tools and data visualization tools is required. Power BI will be a plus.
- Experience in project management and/or business improvement environments is a plus
- Proven ability to work within a team and independently.
- You care curious, had expose to an international culture and ability to work in a multinational environment.
- Efficient in at least English. Additional languages are pluses.
- University degree or equivalent in education or experience.
