The ideal candidate is an engineer with a keen interest in manufacturing technology, who thrives working in capacity expansion projects in the pharma and biotech industry. Obviously, experience in such pharma CapEx projects is an advantage, but candidates with similar experience from other industries are also attractive to us, since those can bring new technology and know how into our pool of competencies.

Your specific role and assignments in the projects will typically match your competencies and skill level - as well as your potential for development. Examples of projects you would lead could be Manufacturing Process Establishment, Lab Establishment, Process Optimisation, Vendor Supervision, Facility Revamps, Tech Transfers, and Remediations.

We work with most of the major Pharma and Biotech companies in Western Europe, so you will get the opportunity to work in projects in your local area as well as in other pharma clusters in Switzerland or abroad.

The projects we serve are conducted in a respectful and pragmatic atmosphere, and the preferred candidate will have a proven track record in creating and supporting such a work environment.

Qualifications

• Bacheler's or Master’s degree in engineering or comparable technical degree
• 10-15 years of experience in technical project management
• Technical experience is preferably within one the areas: Aseptic Filling, Wash & Sterilisation, Packaging, Automated Assembly of Devices, Clean Utility, Robotics, Logistics or other forms of high volume manufacturing equipment in regulated industries
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards in regulated industries such as pharma & biotech or food, veterinary or other related industries
• Communication skills and attitude required to work in multidisciplinary teams and to represent the company towards customers and partners
• Relevant project management certificate, e.g. PMI is an advantage
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Fluency in German is a strong preference
• Curiosity, Ambition, Professionalism and a good sense of Humor
