We are looking for a Lead Android Developer who is passionate about delivering high-quality mobile applications, driving architectural excellence, and leading teams to create reliable, scalable solutions.

Your Role

As a Lead Android Developer, you will be responsible for the design and development of Android applications, leading the full software lifecycle from requirements through deployment and maintenance. You will set the technical direction for Android development, mentor developers, and ensure solutions meet the highest standards in architecture and quality.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Android development efforts from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Architect applications using Kotlin (Java proficiency is a plus).
• Apply Clean Architecture, MVVM, MVI, or equivalent design patterns.
• Work with Room, SQLite, Realm, or NoSQL mobile databases.
• Integrate with backend systems through REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
• Collaborate with system and cloud architects to align Android apps with backend and infrastructure.
• Implement test automation (JUnit, Espresso, UI tests) and enforce CI/CD best practices.
• Optimize applications for performance, battery efficiency, and offline-first usage.
• Mentor junior developers and ensure high-quality engineering practices.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of Android development experience, with proven delivery of complex apps.
• Strong expertise in Kotlin, with advanced knowledge of coroutines and concurrency.
• Deep understanding of Jetpack components (Compose, Navigation, WorkManager, etc.).
• Strong foundation in mobile architecture and modularization.
• Experience with API integration, microservices, and real-time systems.
• Proficiency in test-driven development, CI/CD, and automation.
• Familiarity with Play Store distribution, security, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with media streaming, video playback, or real-time applications.
• Knowledge of system and test architecture.
• Understanding of quality optimization and NFRs.
