POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced technology professional with a strong focus on cyber security to lead the assessment and evaluation of infrastructure across diverse environments. The successful candidate will combine strategic insight with hands-on expertise across data centres, networks, and end-user computing, while also demonstrating a broader understanding of application and data architectures—including complex ERP systems and data migrations.
This role requires a nuanced understanding of the distinct infrastructure archetypes across offices, manufacturing plants, warehouses, and retail sites—recognizing that each environment comes with its own operational requirements, technology landscape, and risk profile. The successful candidate must be able to assess and address these archetypes individually, tailoring approaches to the unique challenges and opportunities each setting presents. In addition, they will lead IT security assessments, audits, and due diligence engagements, synthesizing complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders. Beyond technical acumen, success in this role demands adaptability, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, global environments with shifting demands and time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Assessments: Lead the evaluation of infrastructure components across data centres, networks, and end-user computing, ensuring risks and opportunities are identified quickly and effectively.
- Security Leadership: Conduct IT security assessments, audits, and due diligence projects, developing credible conclusions and actionable recommendations.
- Technical Advisory: Provide strategic guidance on application and data architectures, including ERP systems, data flows, and data migrations.
- Cross-Industry Delivery: Manage engagements across varied environments—corporate offices, manufacturing plants, warehouses, and retail sites—each with distinct archetypes, technology landscapes, and operational challenges that require tailored assessment and delivery approaches.
- Executive Reporting: Synthesize complex technical findings into clear, concise presentations tailored for executive and board-level audiences.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, fostering trust and collaboration.
- Agile Delivery: Define work plans independently, deliver against tight deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities across multiple time zones.
REQUIREMENTS

- Strong knowledge of core infrastructure components (data centre, networks, EUC).
- Experience conducting rapid, effective infrastructure assessments.
- General understanding of application architectures, particularly large-scale ERP systems.
- Broad knowledge of data architecture, including data flows and data migration.
Cyber Security & Risk
- Hands-on experience leading IT security assessments, audits, and due diligence.
- Ability to identify risks with limited documentation and draw credible conclusions.
- Structured, hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving under pressure.

- Proven ability to work at pace and deliver results in high-pressure environments.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, turning complex issues into clear insights.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with a focus on executive-level communication.
- Effective team player, capable of building strong working relationships.
- Flexibility to work across industries and global time zones.
Preferred Background & Experience
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees (MBA, MSc) are advantageous.
- Certifications: Recognized security and infrastructure certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, TOGAF, or equivalent.
