E-commerce Associate


As an E-commerce Associate, you'll play a key role in managing and optimizing the online sales channels, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our customers. You’ll support the execution of digital marketing initiatives, product listings, promotions, and campaigns, helping to drive traffic, conversions, and overall online growth.

We are seeking a results-driven individual to manage and grow our online sales channels. Responsibilities include product listings, pricing, promotions, inventory updates, order fulfilment, customer enquiries, and KPI reporting. The ideal candidate is agile, understands the full e-commerce lifecycle, and has a solution-oriented mindset. You will optimise website content, forecast sales, resolve issues, and work closely with Marketing to plan promotions, identify new opportunities, and execute campaigns.

We’re looking for someone who works efficiently both independently and collaboratively across teams. You should have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a knack for analyzing e-commerce performance to help craft strategies that enhance the customer experience and drive results.


Responsibilities And Duties

1. E-commerce Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to increase conversion, boost GMV, and maximize basket value in alignment with company objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competition to identify growth opportunities.

2. Website Management:

  • Oversee and update website content across all online platforms, including product listings, inventory updates, pricing, and BAU/campaign adjustments.
  • Optimize product presentation for searchability and conversion, and implement improvements to website design, navigation, and functionality.
  • Monitor fulfillment KPIs and resolve operational bottlenecks to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

3. Traffic and Conversion:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to plan and execute promotional campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, and other activations to drive traffic, conversion, and customer retention.
  • Review campaign performance and recommend adjustments to maximize results.

4. Inventory and Fulfillment:

  • Manage inventory and assist in clearing slow-selling or excess stock through repricing, promotions, coupon codes, and advertising.
  • Work with inventory and logistics teams to ensure product availability, timely order fulfillment, and efficient operations.

5. Analytics and Reporting:

  • Analyze sales reports, forecast sales, and produce regular performance reports.
  • Use insights to make data-driven decisions for optimizing online sales and improving user experience.

6. Customer Experience:

  • Manage customer support channels and respond to customer enquiries promptly.
  • Monitor customer feedback and marketplace health, updating processes as needed to enhance the overall online shopping experience and drive satisfaction and loyalty.


Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, E-commerce, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years of experience in e-commerce, ideally working with CMS platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, or similar.
  • Experience selling products through Amazon and/or other online marketplaces.
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX principles to enhance website usability and customer experience.
  • Basic understanding of website development and maintenance, including HTML, CSS, PHP, and CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and e-commerce optimization preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel (formulas such as VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, filters, sorting, importing/exporting data).
  • Familiarity with e-commerce analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, marketplace dashboards) to track performance and forecast sales.
  • Ability to conduct market research, identify current market trends, and recommend marketing tactics.
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles and experience in building an online presence is preferred.
  • Experience planning, executing, and monitoring promotions, campaigns, and discount strategies.
  • Knowledge of product page optimization (images, descriptions, keywords) to improve searchability and conversion rates.
  • Experience in inventory management, order fulfillment, and SKU monitoring.
  • Experience managing customer support channels and responding to enquiries, feedback, or complaints promptly.
  • Ability to coordinate with Marketing, Creative, and Operations teams to execute campaigns and updates.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills, well-organized, punctual, and able to multitask efficiently.
