Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a talented React JS Developer with strong accessibility expertise to join our team for one of our largest Financial Services clients. This individual will be joining the Employee Technology Platform Solutions team with 8 other developers all onsite in Plano, TX. In this role you will be responsible for updating their application framework to implement accessibility standards to ensure it is accessible for all users.

Day To Day Responsibilities

• Develop, test and deploy highly responsible and performant web applications using React
• Work closely with UI / UX designers to implement inclusive design principles and create accessible user experiences
• Partner with Product Owners, UX Team, Tech Leads to produce software design and front end development
• Contribute to store refinement / defining requirements and story estimation
• Contribute to the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution

Skills And Requirements

• 5-7 Years of front-end development with React JS - strong experience with React ecosystem (Redux, React Router, Hooks etc.)
• 5+ years of experience with Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG and AA /AAA standards)
• 3+ years of experience with semantic HTML, ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, and screen reader behavior
• 5+ years of experience building API-based architectures
• 5+ years of experience working in an Agile environment leveraging JIRA
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket source control
• Excellent Communication - Experience with enterprise-level or government web applications with strict accessibility requirements
• Web development experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Jquery, Ajax, JSON
• Financial Services / enterprise experience
