AmpThink is a leading provider of technology systems for world-class stadiums and arenas throughout North America. We are seeking a Network Administrator to join our team at our Garland, Texas headquarters.
This position will be part of our Network Operations Center (NOC), supporting both internal IT functions and customer network operations across the country. The role will focus on ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, providing tactical network support, and assisting with customer requests through platforms like Zoho Desk and Zoho Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily NOC operations, including monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure
- Assist with office IT functions, ensuring internal systems run reliably and securely
- Support customer network requests nationwide, collaborating with venue operations teams and technology architects
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets related to networking, IT systems, and customer support
- Document systems and processes, including sub-contractor requirements, network configurations, and operational procedures
- Develop and maintain both high-level and low-level network documentation, including IP networks, Wi-Fi, IPTV, compute, and telephony systems
- Provision and optimize networks to support customer applications and venue technology initiatives
- Education and/or Work Experience
- 2 years of work experience in a technology-based business or engineering firm
- A technical/information technology degree or engineering degree in a related field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred
- CCNA Certification or equivalent knowledge of Cisco systems
