SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

To provide mechanical and commercial support to the existing client base, target clients and the external sales team through consistently high level of mechanical expertise, highly responsive feedback and outstanding level of client service.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESINCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Conduct regular customer site visits, attending service jobs in the field for installation and trouble shooting of mechanical seals and associated equipments
• Produce comprehensive seal observation reports with analysis and recommendations
• Repairing mechanical seals on site and in workshop
• Assist end users during shut down, project commissioning
• Service/support ongoing refurbishment contracts with end users
• Measurements, site surveys and maintain schedule of installations
• Work closely with stake holders, local team, agent
• Assist with technical reviews of specific applications to allow the optional selection of products and services.
• Maintain and increase market share with key end users and develop territory market by generating opportunities for product and services
• Establish good relationship with end users
• Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability
• Discuss and solve complex problems with manufacturing departments, subcontractors, suppliers and customers

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Education/Training: University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in engineering and field service of mechanical seals, rotating equipments
• Knowledge/Skills: Engineering knowledge in a proactive multinational and multicultural environment.
• A strong technical knowledge of "John Crane" product portfolio or ability for quick learning on John Crane portfolio

Languages: English. Speaking in Arabic is an advantage

Work environment is typically considered mix of office environment and field work, during normal or extended business hours.
