Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst – QA Consultant with strong domain expertise in Finastra Fusion Loan IQ. The ideal candidate will support system implementations, interface development, functional testing, and ongoing production support. This role demands in-depth knowledge of Loan IQ functionalities, SDK development, and integration with core banking platforms, along with a strong background in business analysis and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Loan IQ system implementations and interface development activities.
- Analyze and document business requirements; translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Design and execute test plans, manage defect lifecycle, and report on testing progress.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional, data, and interface issues within Loan IQ.
- Configure system settings and support end-to-end loan lifecycle for syndicated and bilateral deals.
- Review Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and prepare functional test cases.
- Perform SIT, UAT, regression testing, and ensure system stability through integration phases.
- Provide support for system enhancements, upgrades, and post-production issues.
- Maintain documentation of system specifications, workflows, and change requests.
- Assist in preparing user manuals, training materials, and operational guides.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, bank policies, and IT governance standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors during project lifecycles.
Required Technical Skills:
Loan IQ Expertise:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Loan IQ application implementation and support.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Loan IQ SDK: inquiry scripts, scripted APIs/batches, and event management.
- Familiarity with Loan IQ Data Dictionary (version 7.7.X or later).
- Deep understanding of Loan IQ modules:
- Customer Setup, Deal/Facility Management, Portfolio, Payments, Fees, Secondary Sales, Trade Ticket, Swaps, Collaterals, Ticklers, Repayment Schedules
- Experience with:
- RFR functionality
- MX payments and GL entries
- Batch and online accounting
Technical Competencies:
- Proficiency in Core Java / J2EE, XML, and REST API
- Strong command of Oracle DB, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and packages
- Experience with Loan IQ nightly batch processing, controllers, and event-driven triggers
- Understanding of integration with core banking systems
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Banking IT systems, with 3+ years in system implementations and support.
- Proven experience in business analysis, functional testing, and QA for loan administration systems.
