Senior Node.js Software Engineer

Our client is a US-based company that is building a platform to help developers create, collaborate, manage, and scale APIs. Together with our client, we define, build, maintain, and scale integrations with 3rd party tools and services (i.e., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, and others) to streamline collaboration between teams.

IF YOU ARE

• Experienced with 5+ years in JavaScript
• Proficient in Node.js and related frameworks (preferably SailsJS or Fastify)
• Well-versed in MySQL
• Skilled in working with AWS
• Competent in working with GitHub, Jira, and CircleCI
• Having leadership experience as a manager or team lead
• Confident in communicating in English in a multicultural environment
• Familiar with Postman (as an advantage)
• Experienced in building and running your own integrations and apps (as a big plus)
  
  
  

AND YOU WANT TO

• Work on the world-renowned API platform for developers and QAs
• Build integrations between the customer platform and 3rd party tools, starting with Slack, Teams, Jira, GitHub, and others
• Take ownership of the platform and create your own team in the future (up to 3-4 BE Engineers)
• Drive growth experiments and experiences to drive app usage
• Provide API requirements to support integration development
• Organize the use of existing infrastructure or contribute to the creation of new infrastructure to enhance integration quality and engineering efficiency
• Provide technical direction for the overall architecture and design, actively mentoring team members through extensive code reviews and paired programming
• Manage requests from various squads and facilitate communication with the broader organization
