We are looking for a Finance Associate to join our dynamic finance team, supporting day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting across trading, operations, and treasury functions. This is a hands-on role for professionals who are detail-oriented, analytically driven, and eager to gain exposure to complex financial instruments and regulatory reporting frameworks.
You will work closely with trading desks, operations teams, and external advisors, helping ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial outcomes. This role offers exposure to US GAAP, IFRS, and IndAS reporting standards, ERP systems, and the end-to-end lifecycle of trading and settlement activities.
What You’ll Do
Accounting & Reporting
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for trades, settlements, and operational accounts.
Prepare and review financial statements, notes, and disclosures in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, or IndAS.
Support accounting for complex financial instruments including equities, derivatives, and structured products.
Assist in establishing and refining processes, policies, and control frameworks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Operational Support
Collaborate with trading and operations teams to validate trade captures, settlements, and accounting entries.
Support legal entity management including month-end close, audits, and statutory filings.
Maintain and optimize ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar) for accurate financial data management.
Cross-Functional Exposure
Partner with treasury, risk, and reporting teams on finance initiatives.
Assist in preparing ad-hoc financial analysis, reports, and regulatory submissions.
Build expertise in end-to-end trade flows, settlements, and market-making operations.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. Professional accounting credentials (CA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
3–5 years of experience in trading, broker-dealer, or banking environments.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and familiarity with financial instruments.
Skills & Attributes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Interest in fintech, blockchain, or digital assets is a plus.
