Senior Android Developer

We are seeking a talented Senior Android Developer to become an integral part of our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating, enhancing, and refining innovative mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet both business requirements and user expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve Android applications across a variety of projects
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to define and implement key app functionalities
• Write efficient, clean, and maintainable code while following industry best practices for Android development
• Optimize applications to ensure high performance, scalability, and an exceptional user experience
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues and defects reported by users or quality assurance teams
• Participate in code review processes to uphold coding standards and ensure quality
• Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and advancements in Android development
• Contribute to the design and technical decision-making processes for mobile application projects

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, at either the Bachelor’s or Master’s level
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Android application development
• Proficiency in Java 8+ and Kotlin for building Android applications
• Strong knowledge of SQLite for database implementation and management within Android apps
• Experience working with development tools such as Android Studio and IntelliJ
• Understanding of mobile application architecture, CI/CD workflows, automated testing, and secure coding methodologies
• Proven experience with Git version control systems, including workflows like Git Flow and GitHub Flow
• Track record of successfully launching applications on the Google Play Store
• Expertise in managing dependencies, integrating SDKs, and working with API specifications
• Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills at a B2+ level or higher
