Senior Android Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Android Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in crafting, advancing, and fine-tuning innovative mobile solutions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional applications that meet both business goals and user expectations.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain Android applications across various projects
• Work alongside designers and backend developers to deliver key features and functionalities
• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code that complies with Android best practices
• Boost app performance, scalability, and user satisfaction
• Detect, debug, and resolve technical issues and defects identified by users or testers
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality outputs and adherence to standards
• Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and advancements in Android development
• Contribute to the design and planning of technical solutions for mobile projects

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 3 years of proven experience in Android application development
• Proficiency in Java 8+ and Kotlin programming for Android development
• Comprehensive knowledge of SQLite for managing app databases
• Hands-on experience with Android Studio and IntelliJ development environments
• Understanding of mobile app architecture, continuous integration/delivery pipelines, secure coding, and automated testing
• Significant experience using Git for version control, including familiarity with Git Flow and GitHub Flow practices
• Demonstrated ability to successfully release apps on the Google Play Store
• Expertise in managing dependencies, integrating SDKs, and adhering to API specifications
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2+ proficiency level or above
