Now we are looking for a Smart Factory Engineer to join our Teleste Operational Excellence (OpEx) team. Our team’s mission is to create the condition for smooth product transfers and problem-free production with the help of latest feasible technological solutions.
Overview
The Smart Factory Engineer plays a key role in developing electronics production, especially in automating production testing and ensuring quality. The role involves designing and implementing test solutions in collaboration with R&D, production, and quality teams. Tools used include NI TestStand, LabVIEW, and Python to build efficient and scalable test systems.
The role also includes developing production KPIs and utilizing data as part of the Lean Daily Management model. The goal is to improve transparency, responsiveness, and continuous improvement in production.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Design, development, and automation of production testing
- Implementation and maintenance of test systems (LabVIEW, TestStand, Python)
- Data collection and analysis of production systems
- KPI design and visualization (e.g., Power BI, Grafana)
- Supporting and developing Lean Daily Management practices
- Collaboration with R&D, production, and IT
- Relevant technical education (e.g., automation, electrical, electronics, or production engineering)
- Ability to work in a team and mostly onsite (hybrid arrangements are possible)
- Analytical and improvement-oriented mindset
- Experience or interest in Industry 4.0/5.0 and modern production technologies such as:
- Collaborative robots
- AGV systems
- Machine vision
- 3D printing
- Experience in using web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Python) for production support tools and data visualization
- Experience in electronics production testing and automation
- Opportunity to influence the technological development of production
- A versatile and evolving work environment with cutting-edge technology

- Participation in concrete development projects with direct impact on production efficiency and quality
