  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in talent/leadership development, HR consulting, or HR Generalist roles.
  • 2 years of experience in scalable program design, management, and delivery, and change management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing Recruiting or HR programs in relation to market compliance requirements, hiring goals, or local obligations.
  • Experience identifying opportunities or managing potential or existing external partner agencies.
  • Experience analyzing information, drawing conclusions, generating alternatives and solutions, and evaluating outcomes.
  • Experience managing budgets, assessing return on investment from programmatic spend, and making improvements to programs.
  • Understanding of people/talent offering philosophies to carry out programs and projects across business areas, and current and future processes needed to pursue continuous improvement in HR and Talent policies and practices.
  • Understanding of market and stakeholder needs, conducting analysis, and making recommendations.

Whether coaching our clients on how to lead their teams, navigating and resolving employee relations issues or managing programs that help develop our Googlers, you are exceptionally focused on putting them first, and being as clear and transparent as possible to help Googlers understand how people decisions get made.

As a Talent Market Strategist, you'll focus on developing and executing talent acquisition strategies to support hiring goals. You will design and implement country-specific hiring programs, serve as the main point of contact for assigned markets, and collaborate with various partners to align on priorities and mitigate risks. You'll also contribute to market strategies, assess program effectiveness, manage program budgets, and maximize the return on investment for all hiring initiatives. You'll contribute to delivering on headcount goals while improving efficiency in processes and managing costs.

Responsibilities

  • Own programs related to hiring workforce requirements and obligations, from prioritization to implementation. Manage the programs budget for market programs related to workforce requirements and obligations on quarterly basis.
  • Represent Talent Engagement across workstreams for that market with Recruiting and People Operations (POps) stakeholders, to ensure information flow, loop in experts with market stakeholders, and ensure coordination across workstreams.
  • Develop a forward-looking understanding of markets, upcoming requirements, and what hiring programs will be needed to minimize risk for Google, partnering with the Head of HR teams and Recruiting Compliance.
  • Build partnerships with Recruiting Site Leads, Recruiting Compliance, Market Consultants, CPOs, GPOs, and Heads of HR.
  • Conduct an overview follow-up of approved programs. Ensure ROI of programs, on the basis of the aligned goals.
