KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate deeply with stakeholders to understand the why behind problems, not just the what
• Frame and communicate product problems clearly, enabling the engineering team to take ownership and contribute to solution design
• Embed a product mindset within the engineering team: focus on user value, market viability, and business outcomes
• Prioritize discovery work alongside delivery—hypothesize, test, learn. Encourage small, incremental releases to validate assumptions quickly
• Own and refine the product backlog with a focus on outcome-oriented user stories
• Ensure stories are aligned with strategic goals and deliver measurable impact
• Responsible for documenting, maintaining, and validating clear, traceable business rules to ensure alignment between stakeholders and product functionality
• Maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders, end-users, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and clarity
• Monitoring Delivery and Value Metrics: tracking and reporting on delivery metrics and value metrics to ensure ongoing product success
  
  

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Experience as a Product Owner for data/analytics platforms
• A passion for Data and travel industry, data visualisation and analytics
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle with a data-centric lens.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to grasp complex relationships between data offerings 
• Proven experience translating data and analytics requirements into actionable backlog items.
• Experience working with OKRs is a plus.
