🧠 Project Manager / PMO – DORA Implementation

At wBrain, we are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager / PMO to lead a strategic European project focused on the implementation of DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act). This role is critical to ensuring that the organization meets regulatory deadlines while aligning with cybersecurity best practices and business priorities.

🧭 Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end implementation of DORA across business and IT teams.
• Lead and support project governance: roadmap definition, risk & issue management, reporting, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, cyber, and resilience standards under the DORA framework.
• Engage and manage multiple stakeholders across departments (Legal, Risk, IT Security, Compliance, Business).
• Translate regulatory and technical language into actionable plans.
• Monitor progress against milestones, proactively address roadblocks, and escalate when needed.
• Act as a facilitator between senior leadership and delivery teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
• Provide clear, concise updates to steering committees and external auditors/regulators as necessary.

✅ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or PMO in complex, multi-stakeholder environments;
• Strong understanding of DORA regulation and its application in financial/regulated sectors;
• Background in or strong exposure to Cybersecurity, IT Risk, or Operational Resilience;
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all organizational levels;
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) – mandatory;
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive mindset;
• Familiarity with European financial regulatory frameworks is a plus;
• Experience working in a remote / multicultural setting;
• Certification(s) such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile PM is a bonus.
