The Nestlé Product Technology Centre Coffee (NPTC Coffee) is the leading R&D organization that discovers, develops and deploys coffee and beverage products and technologies for in-home and out-of-home consumption. It consists of units in Konolfingen (CH), Marysville (USA), Orbe (CH) and Singapore and provides new products and processes to all Nestlé markets worldwide.

Position Summary

As a R&D Data Science Intern, you will be responsible for participating in innovative research and development projects across various Nestlé R&D facilities. Collaborating with Nestlé experts, you will help design the research tools of the future, contributing to advancements in data science and technology.

A Day in the Life of a R&D Data Science Intern

• Assist in the development of digital tools for experts and product developers
• Support the evaluation and optimization of machine learning models
• Help produce various reports, including scientific studies and standard operating procedures, using Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documenting your code
  
  

What Will Make You Successful

• Student or recent graduate with a Master’s degree in Computer Science and/or Data Science
• Solid knowledge of programming
• Strong interest in science and technology
• Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts
• Previous experience using Python is a plus
• Autonomous and proactive mindset
• Good communication skills in English
