So, what’s the role all about?

NICE is looking for a highly motivated and talented Front-End Developer to join our team in Alkmaar, Netherlands. As a member of NICE, you will play an integral role in building the next generation of our Trading Recorder – a mission-critical solution that helps global financial institutions prevent and uncover financial fraud. You’ll be part of a dynamic, international R&D team, working on modern, cloud-ready software solutions that have real-world impact.

How will you make an impact?

  • Develop and maintain modern, scalable front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and the broader JavaScript ecosystem.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional Scrum team to design, implement, and support key product components.
  • Knowledge of creating Figma designs and integrating them into frontend codebases using reusable components and design tokens
  • Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit testing (Jest).
  • Own the quality of your work, ensuring performance, stability, security, and maintainability.
  • Work closely with backend engineers, integrating with Web APIs and microservices.
  • Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and continuously improve development processes.
  • Contribute to our ambition to rebuild the Trading Recorder into a cloud-native, fault-tolerant, and distributed solution.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in modern front-end development.
  • Strong knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
  • Familiarity with tools like npm, Yarn, Node.js, and Webpack.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (preferably Jest).
  • Solid understanding of front-end design principles and patterns (SOLID, DDD, etc.).
  • Good problem-solving skills, a passion for technology, and a drive to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.

You will have an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience with RxJS, Observables, and Microfrontends.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native development and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS environments.
  • Experience with C#, .NET / .NET Core.
  • Understanding of application security and encryption.
