Challenges You Will Work On
In this exciting and dynamic role, you will serve as a key enabler of agile excellence across teams and domains. You will tackle the intricate task of fostering a high-performing, self-organizing team culture while ensuring alignment with agile delivery standards and frameworks. As the main point of contact for agile facilitation, you will coordinate with product owners, agile leads, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and delivery success.
Your ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial as you:
- Guide and coach agile teams on Scrum practices, roles, and ceremonies.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Remove impediments and nurture a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Ensure team alignment with agile delivery standards and frameworks.
- Support the Agile & AD Practices Lead in scaling agile practices across teams and domains.
- Collaborate with product owners to maintain well-defined backlogs and prioritization.
- Track and report team performance metrics to support data-driven improvements.
- Promote transparency, collaboration, and an agile mindset across the organization.
- Ensure agile delivery processes are followed and continuously refined.
- Act as a servant leader and coach to one or more agile teams.
- Support alignment between team-level execution and enterprise-level goals.
- Contribute actively to the agile community of practice within SAS.
As part of our newly created Office of the CIO in Digital & IT, you will be part of a high-performing and diverse team composed of talented professionals from various backgrounds. You’ll work closely with product owners, developers, and other scrum masters, collaborating with the Agile & AD Practices Lead and transformation teams to align practices. Everyone in the team will contribute to the agile community of practice within SAS communicating effectively to drive agile practices across the organization.
To Be Successful, We Believe You Have
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Deep understanding of agile principles and servant leadership.
- Ability to foster team collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Experience working in SAFe or other scaled agile environments.
- Familiarity with agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- University degree in IT, Business, or related field.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in agile delivery roles.
- Commitment to work from the office 3 days per week.

Additional Information

- Desired start date: 01/12/2025
- Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a 6-month probation period
- This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
- To be eligible for this position you need an EU-work permit. Please note that we ask you to inform us if you currently have a valid EU-work permit.
