Role? We continue the success from previous years and are getting ready to welcome a UX intern for our summer project in 2026! You will work in a team with other students and get support from our experienced and engaged UX'ers. The goal for the project is that the functionality you and the rest of the team develop will be published on FINN.no and used by thousands of users.

The duration of the project is 8 weeks, from 15.06.2026 to 07.08.2026

You? A UX/Design student (2. - 4. year) that’s looking to practise your skills and knowledge. As a UX'er on our summer project we don’t expect you to have any specific prior knowledge, but you do have to be curious, flexible and hungry to learn new things.

About UX? The UX department in Vend is a group of 40 designers that are responsible for making sure the experience of FINN feels simple, intuitive, coherent and fun. We have specialists in many areas like ux writing, user interface, user experience, data visualisation, experimentation and user testing. UX works closely with both tech and product in the process of making our services the best we can.

Company? Vend, home of FINN, Blocket, Tori, Oikotie, DBA & Bilbasen, where millions of people across the Nordics connect to find what they need, whether it’s a job, a home, a way to move, or a fresh start. Together, we serve over 325 million monthly visits. Our UX unit, comprising around 40 UX'ers in Oslo, is vital to our success story, collecting qualitative and quantitative user insight to make sure our products deliver the highest user value we can.

Why us? As a summer intern in Vend you’ll get to work with FINN.no, a product that 96% of the Norwegian population knows. You will gain valuable experience in working with a project from ideation to production. This will give you unique work experience that you will benefit from later in your career. In addition, you will get a real experience of how we work at Vend.

If you are looking for a workplace where you can practise your skills, learn and grow, get inspired, be yourself, and make a difference, let us hear from you by 19. October. Feel free to apply in either English or Norwegian. Please add your portfolio or work samples when applying.

Product Designer Simen Sadberg Nygaard will be happy to answer questions you might have about the project. We'll invite for interviews continuously.
