Networks Lead/Architect

Our client is a well-established mid-sized service provider based in Dubai, delivering high-quality IT services and solutions to a diverse client base. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Network Lead / Architect to join their team and drive network excellence across the business.

Role Overview

The Network Lead / Architect will play a pivotal role in overseeing and designing robust network solutions, ensuring the highest levels of security, scalability, and performance. The role involves managing and mentoring a small team of Network Engineers (based in Chennai), while also remaining hands-on with architecture, planning, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of 2 Network Engineers located in Chennai.
• Ensure high standards of network security and compliance with industry best practices.
• Create and maintain detailed network diagrams, documentation, and technical plans.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to present and communicate network solutions effectively.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies to support business growth.
• Manage and optimize network performance, availability, and scalability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Lead, Network Architect, or similar senior-level role.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Broad expertise across networking technologies, with hands-on technical capability.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Hands-on exposure to Fortinet products and services, including firewalls, switches, and NAC.
• Fortinet certification (e.g., NSE) is highly desirable.
• Experience producing high-quality technical documentation and network diagrams.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and support a remote team.
